My Joy Work Journey
A Little More About Me
Hello! My name is Becky Hass, and I’m founder of Joy Work, LLC. In the last year, many of us are craving practical ways of claiming more intention and joy in the midst of many compounding crises and traumas. I have found myself leaning on various positive psychology tools to support my own grief and healing journey and started sharing these approaches in my work with various community collaborations. Finally, I decided to share these in experimentally designed models online through Joy Work, LLC.
My goal is to offer joy centric workshops and mini retreats sharing positive psychology approaches to empower participants towards more joyful, resilient lives. I believe in empowering people as everyday experts in this work, and it has led me to support collaboration using experiential design through the wisdom in the room versus the sage on the stage.

I love creating brave spaces for conversations that help us grow. I bring 15 years of successful experience in various leadership capacities as a facilitator and advisor. My areas of focus are leadership, organizational development, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. As the Programming and Outreach Manager at Anne Arundel County Public Library, I support hundreds of community partners, non-profits, and presenters through a process I describe as “program matchmaking.” I am on a mission to support joyful, resilient communities where all can use their agency and empower their goals to their fullest potential.
As an entrepreneur and proponent of growth mindset, I welcome your feedback and advice. Please reach out to me through my contact page or schedule a free 30 minute consultation with me. I’m looking for opportunities to share Joy Work workshops and virtual retreats in various sectors and am happy to tailor Joy Work’s workshops for your team’s needs. I offer workshops on Joy Centered Leadership (in our homes, work, and community) and Countering Joy Thieves (joy-filled intention practices and examining relationships – joy buddies vs. joy thieves).
Looking forward to working with you to support joy in this world!
